Recognizing Peak Performance

Objective
A growing real estate company wanted to create a recognition program by rewarding agents as their sales increased. The owners decided to recognize the agent with the greatest number of closed transactions, as well as the top three agents with the highest sales volume.

Strategy
At the annual awards banquet, the four winning agents were presented with an optical crystal or jade crystal award, and their picture was placed on the Wall of Fame at the corporate headquarters. The winner of the greatest number of closed transactions received the crystal Fremont Peak Award. The top three agents with the highest sales volume received the jade crystal Belmont Crescent. Each crystal award was hand etched with the winner’s name and accomplishment, as well as the company name and logo.

Results
The company had steady growth over the previous months; however, the recognition program reinforced the company’s commitment to growth. The recipients of the crystal and jade awards thrived on the recognition award and recruited others to join the agency.
