Challenge:
Winter is knocking at our door, and it’s important to be prepared when severe weather arrives. A hardware store wanted to remind their customers to prepare for the upcoming winter months in advance and not wait until the first snow to fall.
Solution:
The Hardware store gave out the unique Ice Scraper Glove with their logo, address and phone number on it. The sales clerk would encourage the consumer to purchase ice melt, shovels, snow blowers, etc. with each Ice Scraper Glove they gave out.
Result:
To their own surprise, they quickly gave away all the gloves. They also noticed a huge increase in sales on all snow related items. The Hardware store now does this every year to make sure their customers are prepared every winter.
