Objective
The National Hockey League (NHL) wanted to provide a special recognition gift for the 130 suite holders of the new NHL hockey team – the Minnesota Wild. The recognition gift needed to directly symbolize hockey and have a high-perceived value.

Strategy
Crystal D created a regulation-size, clear crystal Hockey Puck on Black Base. The award emulated the look and feel of a regulation hockey puck. It was hand-etched with the Minnesota Wild logo and mounted on a stunning black glass base. The name of the presenting organization and the inaugural season dates were added to the base.

Results
The suite holders were truly honored to receive such a beautiful gift. As avid hockey fans, each suite holder has placed the beautiful crystal hockey puck in a highly visible location so that others can appreciate its beauty.
