City of Crestwood & Fire Safety Month

October is Fire Prevention Month. The history of National Fire Prevention Month comes from the Great Chicago Fire in October 1871 that killed hundreds and destroyed about 3.3 square miles. Today we use October to not only educate everyone on fire safety, but to prepare people in the event of a fire.

Challenge

The City of Crestwood not only wanted to educate people during Fire Safety month, but also keep them aware of the dangers all year round.

Solution

Lipic’s suggested a monthly planner with Fire Safety tips to last all year. The planners provide safety tips for every month – from workplace safety to fire prevention and even an emergency care guide.

Results

Four years later, the City of Crestwood is still providing these planners to their customers. Each year the number of planners ordered has increased, proving that the planners are still a big hit!
