Challenge
The publisher of a hunting & fishing magazine wanted to offer its new subscribers a unique hunting knife with a wood finish handle made in the shape of a plume. As the knives were to be mass produced by injection molding, the client wanted to reduce the possibility of error by creating a prototype in resin that would be an exact replica of the original.
Solution
Through a special silicon molding process, a reproduction was created of the knife that was a perfect likeness of the original, exact in every detail.
Results
The prototype was so precise that the company decided to use it as their master piece for creating the injection molds. When your requirements include the need for precise, detailed reproduction of detailed or complex pieces, create a fully customized solution.
