Objective
A large manufacturing company wanted to reward its employees for meeting their safety goal set at the beginning of the year.
Strategy
The company wanted to offer the employees something they could use and show off. While most consider the environment in a manufacturing plant to be unpolished, they opted for a nice leather jacket to counteract those thoughts. For the men, a Burk’s Bay Men’s Lamb Classic Jacket, and for the women, a Burk’s Bay Ladies’ Lamb Coat, both made of soft lambskin leather with nylon lining and polyester fiberfill.
Results
The jackets were a huge hit, the employees thrived on the recognition and really felt the jackets were a nice reward. As a result of the program, the company continued to meet their safety goals year after year.
