Celebrating 100 Years of Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day celebrates a milestone this year; for 100 years we have officially been celebrating moms on the second Sunday in May.

Use: Employee Recognition

How was it distributed:

The owner of an accounting firm was a self proclaimed mama’s boy, even naming his company after her. Since he had a soft spot for all of the mothers out there, he wanted to do something special for all of the moms who worked for him. While everyone appreciates flowers, he wanted to go the extra mile to let his employees know he was thinking of them. Foldable vases were found in a variety of colors that he could imprint with a message. Each one was filled with a few flowers and placed on each mom’s desk the Monday after Mother’s Day.

Result/ROI:

The women were surprised and touched by the sweet gift waiting on their desk. They all felt so appreciated and couldn’t believe their boss would go out of his way to acknowledge them for being mothers. It is one thing to celebrate your own mom, but it makes it a little more special when you’re celebrated by others. The women loved the vases, many took them home and continue to talk about how useful they are. Some left them at the office and continue to put fresh flowers in them to brighten up their days.
