A car dealership had a rough winter, with so much snow their sales were down. They needed to win their customers back in a big way.
Objective: The weather was finally starting to get nice, so they wanted to get their customers a gift they could use this spring. And nothing says Spring/Summer more then BBQ’ing.
Strategy: They decided on a BBQ Gift set for every customer that came in and leased or bought a car with them. The gift set included a 5-piece BBQ Set with a spatula, fork, tongs and grill brush. It all came in a Party Kooler, along with an apron, pot holder and oven mitt. This gift was perfect for customers who wanted to get out and enjoy the nicer weather.
Result: When presented with the keys and the gift set, customers were shocked and overwhelmed. They were surprised by such a thoughtful gift. Word spread throughout the community about the gift, and business for the dealership increased. After a slow few wintry months the dealership was back on pace to meet their goals.
