Memorial Day is creeping up on us and Summer is almost here. One of the best parts about Memorial Day is all the BBQ’s people have.

Objective: A bank reached a goal they had set at the beginning of the year and wanted to do something for their employees to appreciate all their hard work. With spring finally here and summer creeping up, they needed a gift that everyone would be able to enjoy.

Strategy: They wanted the gift to be something that would be used in the upcoming months and with Memorial Day coming up, their first thought was BBQ. They decided on a nice 5 piece BBQ set that included  high quality tongs, spatula, fork, brush and knife all in a sturdy case. The case came with the company logo and each set was personalized for each employee. The gift was left at each employee’s desk as a complete surprise one morning.

Result: The employees were surprised when they found the BBQ set at their desk. Everyone really appreciated that the company took the time to acknowledge that they had worked really hard to meet the goal that was set. They also liked the personalized touch because it made each employee feel like they they were part of the success. Many of the employees were already starting to make plans with the office on who would hold the BBQ this Memorial Day.
