Reward Customers for Their Contributions

Objective

A local Salon wanted to thank their customers who had come in during the month of February and donated to their cause. The Salon had been taking donations all month and at the end of February would be donating all the money to their local Heart Association.

Strategy

The owner of the Salon wanted to give back to those who were taking the time to donate and get involved in Heart Awareness Month. She wanted something they could look forward to using. Her solution was the Marina Bag that was actually 2 bags in 1. It’s a stylish and functional combination of an all day travel bag paired with a coordinating accessory bag that would be great for any trip to the beach. She decided to stick with the color red so that when customers were to use this bag in the future they would remember why they got it and remember Heart Health Awareness.

Results

Many of the clients that came in February donated above and beyond what was originally thought. So many of the clients liked receiving a beach bag for the upcoming warmer months, but were just as happy to help a good cause. Some of the clients even suggested to the owner that she run this type of promotion throughout other months. It raised such awareness in February that it would be good for her to continue to raise awareness on many other topics.
