Everyone is still in the “get in shape” mindset after the first of the year. A lot of us have been slacking and have taken this opportunity to start the year off right. The problem is our body may not be as ready as our mind is. You haven’t worked out in some time and its hard to just get thrown right back into it.
Challenge: A Fitness Center realized too many of their new clients were pushing them selves too hard to fast and not allowing proper recovery time. They wanted to show their new clients that its ok to go slow and ease yourself back into shape. At the same time they realized people are going to do what they want to do.
Solution: They decided to give each new client that joined or did a trial a Hot/Cold Pack with their logo on it to help with recovery. This would help the new client out if they pushed them self too hard too quickly. It also shows the client that their gym is looking out for their well being.
Result: The Hot/Cold Pack was a big success, many clients would chat among themselves about how they would use them constantly at night. It helped them recover quicker allowing them to keep up with their new work out regimen. Clients kept coming back throughout the whole year, not just the first month of joining.
