Use: The Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League wanted a giveaway for its fans.  They were getting tired of all the usual giveaways and wanted something fresh to give their fans to show their appreciation. Having seen all the cars around town decorated with different window clings showing off team pride, they decided to create Pittsburgh Penguin window clings using different players.  The giveaway was promoted through the team’s website and the local sports station.

How it was distributed: The window clings were handed out to the  fans as they came through the gates.

Results:  The giveaway was a huge success.  Fans were very responsive to a new, fresh giveaway. Many were overheard talking about which player figure was their favorite and where they were going to put them on their cars. After this giveaway it was reported that throughout town many cars were decorated nicely with the new Pittsburgh Penguin figurines.
