Customer Service Week
Every year for one week in October, Leed’s acknowledges their Customer Service Department with Customer Service Week. During the week, the supervisors recognize the hard work and dedication of the customer service staff by providing thank yous in many different forms. Each day they try to surprise the employees with a different form of appreciation. This can include breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and appreciation gifts. Recent gifts include an embroidered blanket, a tumbler and a local grocery store gift card.
Results
Since Leed’s has implemented this Customer Service Week, they have had very little turn over in the customer service department. Each year the employees look forward to the week where they are recognized, especially in a large company where sometimes it is easy to be over shadowed. With an increased work morale, Leed’s believes that this rolls over to their customers. By having a happy customer service department they now have happy customers as well.
